2.3 Case Plans and Reviews |
AMENDMENTS
This Chapter was first issued in September 2004, and amended in July 2005. The amendment changed the Case Review cycle from three months to six months.
| 1. | A Case Plan is a plan setting out the services, of a non-complex nature, provided to a Child in Need, for example, family support or day care. |
| 2. | Case plans are normally drawn up by the social worker allocated to the child’s case or responsible for making the arrangements for a child to receive services. |
| 3. | Case plans should be reviewed at intervals agreed with the manager, but at least every six months. |
| 4. | Case Reviews are normally conducted by the social worker, who should invite or seek the views of the child, parents and any service providers. If the case is not allocated, the manager must undertake the review or arrange for it to be undertaken on his/her behalf. |
